I roll on a similar setup. 265 C load KO2s, T4R pro wheels and Kings. Certainly gets the job done while looking mostly like a stock truck which is nice. I probably will go up once these tires are toast though. Deaver's for the back and 285s.

Same camp here, plus I run snow chains and my old set still fits. I did not want to lose any torque either.

I’m pretty sure no one with 33”s can run chains.

So far just a bed mat and a lighter wallet
Right there with you. I just got some 265/75/16 Goodyear Ultra Terrain AT’s. Helped developed by American discount tire and only sold there. I went with these because they are basically a true 32” tire. They don’t measure to the tallest part of the lug so the actual height which I measured today was just above 32”. Plus it’s an SLT tire that only weighs 40 lbs.

255/75/17 is the best size for these trucks in 99% of cases IMO.

OP, get both wheels (16” & 17”) to have winter and summer tires

I ran 33’s on my first gen for 5 years. My new 2nd gen has 31’s and I really like the look. The ride quality is much better too over the LT285s. Probably won’t go up to the 33s on this truck.

Love the look. What did you use to get 1.5 inch all around? Also how was the trip to the Arctic? Looking to do that next summer.

I chose 32's (275/70/17) because I felt it was the best compromise, for me, between road and trail use, and looks.

I do agree that for most people's use, 31s are a good choice.

I’ve got a custom add-a-leaf in the back. The local spring shop cut open the factory spring packs and added a leaf. Front is on 5100’s. Not sure what notch, but I asked the shop to keep the 1” rake after the lift, and it ended up 1.5” front and back compared to my stock measurements.

Arctic adventure was amazing. Fantastic. Would leave tomorrow to do it again if I didn’t have other obligations. I will be going back.

Thanks. I’ve been thinking of doing 5100s in the front and a small block in the back. I don’t haul things and want it some what level but I like the 1.5 inch look with the 31s.

I’ll definitely reach out. I’m starting the planning process now. It’s an 8.8k round trip for me. Been thinking of doing a rtt on a bed rack and just camping my way up. But now the wife wants to come so I foresee more hotels on the trip than I originally thought. Anything you would recommend specifically truckwise?

I have a lot to say on the subject so hit me up in the messages. I’d like to help you out with some things to expect. I have done a lot of remote travel in Canada, but the Arctic trip was different than I expected and I don’t think all the advice out there is good advice.

I’ll shoot you a message so we can rap about it.

Do you have pics of the ultra terrains mounted on your truck? I'm considering getting these in the same size.

Have an appt to mount them this Thursday. Trying to establish why this was necessary to the wife in the mean time. I’m often guilty of do it first and then ask for forgiveness. If I’m still alive I will post them up ASAP

265 75 16 wildpeaks, happy so far. It also says 32x10.50 on the tire next to the tire size.
