Isn't the achilles heel of most Rams their transmissions? Or maybe that's old news, IDK...don't really follow up on Dodge that much.

The cummins tranny doesnt handle power that well. But I wouldn’t mess with the engine

 

I'd get a 2019 with the Cummins and a manual trans (or maybe it was 2018 that was the last year of the manual, not sure)

nah last year was the last year you could get a full size truck with the manual, just looked it up. Dodge was the last to offer it with their diesel.

 

2nd gen... lemme guess with a 3.0L? They all need an engine, from the factory they needed an engine haha. My CL is filled with sub 1k 2nd gen runners

I love the 2nd gen 4runner, might get one eventually. But I have sacrilegious plans for one and it would be an onroad creation only since their IFS is garbage in the dirt. It's 90% nostalgia for me really
