Nope 2013 so paid for a long time ago.

Never had a problem with it and do all the servicing myself so pretty much gas and go.

 

I’m a long time rider. I can tell you I rarely commute on my bike anymore. Why? People are idiots and during commute times, you really need to pay attention. Even when honking the horn on a motor, people are deaf as door nails.

I second this - I have been riding all my life and seems the past five-ten years things have gotten out of control. Almost every car I pass the person is looking at their telephone and not the road - this is why I like to play in the Sierras and not in the city.

With a faster bike you can get away from idiots easier though.

You just need to understand that there’s all kinds of people on the road nowadays. Which I’m sure you already do. Whether it be people that aren’t paying attention, sleepy, or just don’t like you, or are mad at the world, or maybe just don’t give a fuck. One thing is for sure is that there’s no appreciation for life anymore.

If I can get followed home and have me and my family threatened to get shot all because I stopped at a stop sign. Then there’s no doubt in my mind there’s going to be some lunatic out there that’ll run you over and still go home and have a good nights rest.

Because I ride an GSA as well, I feel like I might have a slight advantage height wise-I can see what most people cannot. There are a shit ton of people driving distracted. A shit ton. Whether you can get away or not, I don't care if you're on a liter bike or a 390, you should be able to get away-but will you? Head on a swivel or not, we always lose in a collision.

Agreed - I think it is safer sitting up high so you are aware of what is going on around you - let’s see Your GSA.

 

Very nice - the new generation. I have taken a water cooled for a spin and liked it but not enough to make me part with mine or the extra cash but maybe someday.

 

Don't ride a 1250. It's a much nicer platform. Torque for days. Power on demand.
