so I had a 17trd pro and hated the acceleration and shifting. Got a 2019 sport and missed all the pro features. 2020 trd pro will be here Monday.

How did the acceleration and shifting change from the 17 to the 19?

Pretty dramatic. I think Toyota came out with a software update to fix this. My 17 would also hunt for gears constantly.

You haven't test driven your new $40k+ vehicle after hating 2 trucks of the same generation? Sweet.

This site really opens my eyes sometimes.

The 20 does have some pretty sweet upgrades so it's not entirely the same vehicle as his 17 even though the drive train is identical

Just a tip here. You know other companies make trucks too that are eligible for purchase.

I guess just need to hope the 2019 wasnt a fluke and he got a good drivetrain on it and the 2020 doesnt drive the same as the 2017. I wish I had that kind of money to throw around.
