I wonder how you'd properly insure something like that, I can't imagine a regular insurance company would care about the 'street value' of a super clean 1982 Toyota pickup. If you totaled it right after you bought it, or someone stole it...how do you protect yourself against that financially.

I guess there's gotta be specialty insurance options out there for people that buy old/classic cars in mint condition so that they're insured for the proper value on it, but I would imagine those monthly payments are pretty high.

Lol @ that thread. There are guys in there saying 'I make so much money that working on my truck costs me more than paying someone else to do it'....give me a fucking break, no you don't. Everyone has free time, I don't care who you are, you don't work 24/7.

Now, if we're talking about putting a price on spending that time with your family or doing other things you enjoy instead, that I won't argue because you can't put a price on those things. But saying you can't justify doing it yourself because it will prevent you from earning your 6 figure salary is complete BS lol. That thread is getting juicy

What's funny is how it devolved into exactly what everyone thought it would devolve into....another overly-opinionated and presumptuous 3rd gen shitshow thread.

    4 run, 2 don't
Free ego inflation with every 3rd gen purchase.

*Inflation size available only in bulk; e-peen growth may vary, and flexing said e-peen may result in but not limited to humiliation, ridicule, dumpster fire threads and possibly a perma-ban from popular truck forums*
