Did the rear AAL come with new ubolts from Supreme?

No it did not, I thought the u-bolts were only used with blocks... but could be wrong. Clearly I wasn't the one who installed mine.

I just ordered the front spacers and was about to order the aal and didn’t see any mention of u-bolts. Did you keep your overload spring?

Man, I really wish I could be of more help, but basically just ordered the parts and brought them to be installed... he didn't give me back any parts so I'm guessing the overload spring stayed on.

Again, sorry I can't be of more help...

Finally happened. Went with the supreme 2” lift up front and 1.5” rear block. Definitely pleased with the look and the ride feels almost the same. I don’t do much wheeling these days so I went with a cost effective route. I’m running 265/70/17 Toyo Open Country MT that are pretty aggressive so I won’t be upgrading size yet.

A 1” top spacer will give 2” of lift in the front. I’m going to list my Rough Country spacers for sale if anyone is interested. They’re aluminum 1” spacers that go on top of the spring/shock assembly and give 2” lift.

2” spacer up front and 1.5” rear so I maintained the rake. I did get an alignment that is slightly off by a hair. Also didn’t do a differential drop. Haven’t noticed any vibrations or sounds.

If it wasn't already discussed here... The reason top plate spacers are bad for off roading is because when your shock is fully compress it becomes the bump stop instead of the LCAs. You risk damage to the shocks on big hits.

Hi @erict14, curious for an update on your lift/33s after it's been several weeks and imagine the honeymoon period is over? Also did your shop tell you the hours they charged for install and/or what they charged you?

@Brent_Blacke I absolutely love it man, I wish I could give you more insight to crawling but haven't had the time to do much of that. I will say the gas mileage is a huge thing to take into account, I know I don't have the mileage counter re-calibrated so I'm getting slightly worse readings but it was a drop off: from about 20-21MPG to about 15. I might be crazy, but to me just the overall stance/look is worth that loss in mileage. I dont really notice any difference in ride with the exception of sitting up higher. Cost to install the AAL, spacers, diff kit, and ECGS bushings was $500 even. Might be market price or might be high, all I know is it was way beyond my capabilities.

Ha, glad you love it!! I believe the 33s travel about 7-8% further so you’re probably getting 16ish, but yes that is a substantial loss (especially with CA gas prices)...although agree the looks make it worth it!! $500 for Labor seems very reasonable to me!! Sorry I forgot to ask one last question: did you get an alignment afterwards? If so, was the lift or tires the main reason? I’m planning to put on 33s soon and lift sometime later...I’d prefer to get no realignment, but def not two! Thanks again and congrats!!

I didn't do an alignment; meant to after the new tires and the AAL settled, but never got around to it. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to do. Honestly, just the 33's alone are a huge improvement and from what I've read on TW the stock PRO suspension don't have any rubbing issues. Good luck and be sure to post some before & after pics!

33” tires on a stock TRD Pro rub like crazy. Even when lifted 2”, minor trimming, and reshaping the wheel well plastic, still had rubbing.

If you change your ride height you must do an alignment on the front end. There’s no adjustment in the rear, but the front will be all out of whack.

Any more updates? I’m getting serious about upgrading tires on my pro , so have been looking at mine closely and don’t see how I could fit 285/75 or even 255/85s without cutting ..maybe w/ an adjustable UCA, but that’s more $$ I don’t want to spend right now...

1” front lift, 1” rear lift, 285/75r16 General Grabber X3
I just got my pro last week. Did this 1” lift myself in my driveway. Be sure to order the longer bolts/hardware along with the front spacers. You won’t actually use the bolts but will need to use the locknuts that come with it on the stock bolts... once you install the spacers the stock bolts aren’t long enough to thread on the stock nuts, however the locknuts that come with the kit fit fine as they’re half as tall. If you do it this way you don’t need to rent a spring compressor to swap out to the longer bolts. This setup overall gave just over an inch front and rear. Maintaining rake to not mess with sensors in grill/windshield. Tires are 285/75r16 general grabber x3. Close to size as BFG muds dimensionally (so a touch bigger than BFG all terrains). No rubbing on road (no wheel well melting yet, no frame chop, and still running stock mud guards). Further testing to be confirmed for off road use.
