anybody do wiring for lights in the SA area, need help with my light bar set up

I'm OCD, but in Lockhart. And it can be as simple or as hard as you want to make it. One simple add switch, a relay, and wiring ain't hard. But are you planning for more? Then you has decisions, same as I am going through now! Go simple to start, and I bet a local will help you out.

 

yeah he's right one light bars easy to wire up but once you do one you're going to want to add more and then you're going to have to give yourself a fuse panel and it gets all complicated

 

Yep, because just to hook up the light bar I got with the bumper guard from Brandon, I am going to use that excuse to wire in a switch panel for that, some bed lights I don't have, the dash cams/nav I DO have, and "stuff" I wrote down somewhere that I must REALLY need.
But someone can help you get a quality switch for now if you want!

 

if I'm correct kurt you should have some blank switch spots down there by your left me in your taco I filled all mine up already

I do. But the costs of using the Taco switches, and the manual wiring has me eyeing other options. I am still looking at this Amazon package, because "no switch wiring" except for routing up to the upper console (but it's just a harness), and all the load wiring coming from the engine bay box.

That means you can do the switch pod once, then go add loads as needed. Price varies, I have it at $93 somewhere, and I have $100 free Amazon bucks to play with.

 

What I am looking at fits inside the Garage door opener bay (front) in our 2 Gens.

I'm looking for that garage door opener thing I have a compass in my but I want to get rid of it I need to go take a drive down to Pick-N-Pull see if I can find any tacos in there there's a few plastic pieces in my interior that are broken and I want to replace two

 

So doing 6 switches, without other stuff, is $120. Why I am looking at the package with relays and fuses for less.
