    Thanks, Between the beetle damage that he cut down last summer and the fire damaged trees now he is running out of trees on his 17 acres. He burns oil for heat so he does not need the firewood.

    Brother had a tree snap back on him this afternoon and pushed the saw into his leg just above the knee. Had to get stitches.

    In town they're oncutting down all the ash trees. The ash trees were planted to replace the elm trees that were lost to Dutch Elm disease.

    A little something every chance we get.
    Was just passing through, and saw this about the borers. They are the disease that made it "easy" to cut down both our Arizona Ash last year and go solar. According to our AG services - "we don't have them here". Now, about 1/3 of the Ash on our block are being cut hideously and cheaply.
    Need a Chainsaw sculptor, because people are too cheap to finish the job, and pay to grind out the stumps (huge).
    When they cut the trees back, you can see the same damage we saw in ours.
