After having my toytec 3" lift on for a few weeks I installed see 1.5" wheel spacers to get my wheels even with the fenders. After driving today to test out the spacers I heard some rubbing of my wheel when trying to back up. Anyone run into this issue? I've running 265/70r17 tires which I think you can run with no lift. Didn't have any rubbing issues before the spacers. Really like the look of the truck with them on so I'd hate to have to remove them but I have to get this rubbing issues fixed.

I have the 265/70-17 tires on my truck.
The right front tire was rubbing on the small vertical rubber flap in the fender well. I just removed it.
You need to have someone back the truck up, while you look to see where the tire is rubbing.

When you added the spacers you changed the backspace by that much. You’ll need to have the caster adjusted to as much positive caster as you can get with the factory ucas ( I assume you didn’t change them.) or you’ll need to remove the spacers.

I had the upper controls arms replaces with jba arms so the alignment was spot on before the spacers. I'll get someone to back up the truck while I look for areas of rub. Hope it's just a small area I can remove easily

If the caster was set at factory specs which I believe is 2.5 degrees. You may need a bit more cause of the spacers. Hopefully you can get away with just some slight trimming. Keep us posted.

I rub going in reverse at weird angles sometimes and I have 33s. I know your pain. I’m going to have to do a lot of cutting to fit 35s when the time comes.

Got some help holding the wheels sharp and found a small area of the fender that was touching. Cut it away and so far so good, even when backing up
