LOL, somehow I’m not surprised. It will be really interesting to see how the lasers turn out!

I can't remember who but somebody on here checked them with a meter and they weren't far off from the morimotos in terms of brightness. Which is two to three times more bright than the stock lights.

As expected, they don't perform as well.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/posts/21636819

    Morimoto headlights:
    - Are less expensive
    - Have a longer warranty
    - Perform better
    - Are plug and play

Factory housings need a conversion harness, which doesn't exist yet.

They're actually a good bit off:

    716lux - OEM Reflector
    891lux - XB LED

I wouldn’t want all that chrome on my front end. No thanks to the OEMs. The Morimoto look sinister.

My bad. Still a great bit better than the '19 lights though right? I suppose that's my starting point so my perspective is off lol

FWIW, I have the standard tech package AND LED's without the premium package. Was no issue for my dealer.

Its not just Toyota, every car manufacturer bundles packages now - its just way more cost effective. Actually, Toyota does pretty well considering you can get Tech and LED's as standalone - you don't need to order a package to get either of those options and they are pretty nice options to have, especially given they are about $1300 in total. I would have been PISSED if I needed to get the Premium Pack to get LEDs on account of my head is too big with the sunroof. It would have been a real dilemma for me.

They do fit, you’ll just need to either purchase a harness or do the wiring yourself.
