Any quick and easy suggestions on plugging the holes left in the bumper?

Would be interested to know this as well. Next time I’m at the dealer I am going to see how much that piece would be to replace. I can’t stand those two holes there.

I’m curious as well. I’ve come across bumperplugs.com The installation videos I’ve seen shows you may have to enlarge the holes, which I’m Leary of doing (in case I ever need to run a front plate)

In my case the dealer put a giant license plate holder on the front so even if I wanted to put a borderless license plate to make it a little cleaner I would have to drill another set of holes.

    Auto fasteners maybe?
Edit: at least for a black bumper.

Idk why the dealer has to drill straight into the damn bumper... My Subaru had holes tucked away so they weren’t directly in the front of the bumper

I need to take my off too. Haven’t because I don’t know what to cover them with.

I used a pair of these things on my last vehicle, but the top was just one piece and sat nearly flush to the surface. They were more simplified and did not have any kind of expanding/locking mechanism. My front bumper cover was painted, so I scuffed up the top of the trim plugs with 800 grit sandpaper and painted them body color to match. It worked great!

The ones with the locking mechanisms like in the picture are used by Honda in their engine bays, and for the engine splash guards. You can find these at lowes also.

I went through bumperplugs.com and have been happy. The color match was right on and I don't remember having to enlarge the holes that were already there. I tried color matching my own plugs but was never happy with the brush on paint job I did. They aren't cheap but I think it's the best way to fill those holes.

If you've got black plastic to cover you could go the platic welder route. The iron usually comes with plastic rods ready to apply. Kit at Harbor Freight is like $20

Sand it and apply some kind of trim restoration product to make it look good.

I used the bumper plugs recently. Colour match is perfect and the finish is supposed to be quite durable. A bit pricey and you could make your own with some generic plugs and colour matched spray paint. I had to drill the holes out a little, but if you had to put your plate back on you could always use a nut/bolt and a few washers.

Installed the bumper plugs tonight. Expensive but turned out great.

Lowes has several sizes and shapes of plugs from really small on up and they usually have then in black, white and gray. Most are under $1.00 and really easy to paint. Local hardware stores like Ace have even more selection.
