Still an install work in progress, but this upTOP Overland rack is the balls. I’ll post the build to my thread when done with the scene lighting.

I like the throwback light bars! Seeing more and more of them and wondering why they went away! :notsure:

Thanks! It's always nice to get a deal. Hell, if yours are still in good shape, you could probably sell them for what these cost. Yeah, I was lucky in that I knew what truck I was going to get a few months before it was even available to buy, so I had plenty of time to research and plan what I wanted for add-ons.

Did my first oil change on the truck today. Thank goodness for the oil filter housing removal cap from Motivx. That plastic factory housing was on so dang tight! Anyway, used the filter housing drain kit which worked well and avoided and messy cleanup. I installed the new metal oil filter housing and drained the oil pan. All filled up and no leaks.

Then spent the next 3 hours trying to laser align my front wheels on my CanAm Spyder...........that was no fun.

Those wheels are going to change the look of your truck drastically. It was like night and day!

Can't wait to see pics once you get yours installed, and thank you!

Too much going on for me right now. All mods except my FabFour rear bumper from Midwest Aftermarket, if they ever ship it, on hold for now. This is my busiest time of year and I'm waaay behind. Health, home, and hunting all take priority and even hunting is questionable at this point. Is what it is. Besides I don't dislike my Predators I just like the look of those other steps better.

Follow the pack mentality, ..and skill, you need to be able to find or do welding at the craftsmanship level, there isn't and app or Xbox game for that.
Ok, maybe I'm getting up there and didn't think of it as throwback, only now I budget for the shit I like!

They all but disappeared in popularity for several years, then became super redneck where you never really seen them on a clean looking truck. Yours and maybe a couple others are the only clean looking ones I’ve seen for a long time. You’re right though, that follow the pack mentality does drive demand. Look at shells vs RRTs. 5-10 years ago on TW, it was all shells. Now a lot of RRTs and prinsu style racks. That’s not a dig on any of them, all three are nice and have their places. I had a shell on my last Tacoma, but it does serve to confirm your point.

Anyways, I like your bars and how you made them work for a modern look!
