How recently was the engine bay cleaned? Do it yourself? How? Pressure or steam? If any of that was done recently... Just a thought. Damn nice clean engine.

If this was already discussed, disregard - I didn't read your previous posts :anonymous:

Maybe take a look at the actual OBD connector. See if maybe a pin backed out or bent. :notsure:

Thanks. I had it cleaned by a local detail shop about 6 months ago. I did my valve cover gaskets and timing belt and wanted to clean up the oil seepage from the VC's prior to work. It started by buying the cleanest truck I could find. It does get dirty during wheeling but I diligently clean it afterwards.

Also, got another pending code on my way to work this morning. Headed to auto parts store after work to see if they can read my code(s).

Does anyone have recommendations on grit of sandpaper to use for painting wheels?

looks cool. But also a PITA for batteries.

also a +/- 1.5psi accuracy is annoying I think. Means you could have a 3psi difference showing on the meter but could just be not accurate sensors.

Going to depend on the wheels being painted. I've gotten buy with just a rough 3M scratch pad.

I used one of those scuff pads on these, it got a lot of the grime that a pressure washer wouldn’t get.

If you have some rusty spots you might need some tougher stuff

Do yourself a favor and spend $20-$50 on a code reader. It saves so much time and you can monitor different things while driving to further diagnose issues.

Thank you for the information! I'll post the results later when I complete this. Might have time to do tomorrow but gonna be prepping to go up north this weekend. Luckily I don't have any rust whatsoever on my truck, so I'll try the scuff pad then maybe go over it lightly with a sanding block I have from a while back

Whatever grit your local sandblaster guy is running.

Sanding wheels sucks. I used wire wheels and 220 to finish. Never again.

I love the idea for a street truck, for an offroad truck not so much. I already destroy valve stems and caps as it is.

Can't say I've ever had to replace lug nuts before. Unless they're rusty or damaged somehow I don't think that's something to be concerned with
