?

2011 Tacoma (going from 265/70/16 to 285/75/16) do I really need to lift my truck?

  1. Yes you really need to lift it.

  2. No you don't need to; as long as you don't mind rubbing.

    Hello!
Does anyone have pictures of their 2nd gen tacomas that put 285/75 for 16 inch rim tires without spacers and without a lift kit?
Please send them my way and include if their is minimal or a lot of rubbing. I'm aware there may be some rubbing.
I went looking through the threads, but couldn't find this specific of a question with "pictures"

    Thanks so much!

285/75R16 plan on cab mount chop, pinch weld flattening, and inner fender trimming... those that say they dont rub dont crawl more than the mall.

Here's mine before I put a lift on it. I bought it in August of this year with 285/70R17 on it already.
