    Dang, I will be at ACL this weekend. I will catch the next one. I will be cruising the mean streets of 78745. I usually stick around southwest austin area ( between mopac and 35, downtown and slaughter area).

    You'll have to post pics after you pick her up. Chad's deep in the '45, so he'll be stoked by that. I live in the '48 but am in the '45 all of the time (straight down Manchaca is my route to 71).

    We need to do another south siders meet. Just not that same taco place, Chad. I can't stomach that again.

    You know, that FB post just proves that, come election day, things aren't going to change in Austin. "Don't blame the city council" translates to "we're going to keep electing clueless twits to City Council". I remember a gal who was quoted in the AAS, well over a decade ago, in a story about rising property taxes. Her quote, and I :censored: you not, was, "I don't know why my property taxes keep going up; I vote yes on every bond election there is."

    Yes, there should be required IQ tests at the voting stations.
