    ...and then there's This Guy...

You may want to start a new thread and ask that question. I doubt that you will get an answer here.

No hurt feelings here. I applaud you for searching, but I don't believe the folks in this thread will be able to provide an answer. Despite my sarcasm, I was trying to be helpful. If you like, since I haven't installed mine yet, I can get under my truck to compare the size with the transmission mounts. Though I do still think that a new thread specific to "Transmission mount alternatives" might be the best place to start (assuming one doesn't already exist).

The trans mount is a pretty specific setup, not a generic setup like these body mount bushings.

Since you have an aftermarket bumper...did you remove/modify the center grille brace to fit a winch? That may be the cause to your good flutter

Finally did mine. Small on top because I don't need anymore space between bumper and body. Used both washers. So far so good.

Fun little tidbit: the larger bushing appears to be pretty similar in height to the OEM top bushing.

Just ordered this, will be here tuesday! Hoping it fixes my thud issue I'm having. I think it is shot on the passenger side and my bumper and fender are hitting pretty hard when I hit bumps while driving on the road

DMZ makes urethane bushed trans and engine mounts. I couldn’t find a picture of mine, maybe @Arcticelf or @GT7 can post a quick photo.

Question - installing the kit now from ES, the drivers side was a pain to line up and I had to force it together. I could take the Jack out and the body never did come down I could almost pull it back out with zero jack. Why is this? I had to crank down the bolt and pull the body down???

You’ll have to give Tim at DMZ a call. I don’t think he has them up on the site yet.

The trans mount is easy to install, you’ll need some emotional support for the engine mount.

All things that help with the engine: OEM exhaust manifold (no headers in the way), remove coils, remove CVs, lots of swively extensions, stubby wrenches, small hands, floor jack...

Lol, I might pull the motor instead. Either replace it or do some much needed maintenance and upgrades that would all be easier with it on a stand and then do motor mounts and new steering rack easy peasy.

Edit: probably goes without saying but don’t put solid/poly trans mount in before motor mounts are in.

since you’re willing to go that far...

The hardest part is having the room to clean the surface to weld. They fit super nice. Disregard the fact that it says for FJs. Fits post ‘06 Tacos too.

Also don't tighten down the motor mounts until the trans mount is in finger tight.

I'll see if I can in the morning. But it's not much to look at.
