Air filters have come and gone. Rears arrived today. First question from my wife "You are selling those too, right?"

I contacted them today. Looks like my shocks are 4 weeks out.

There is another COUPON code that expires today! $1000 of $3500. Not nearly as good. WISHLIST1000

I'm pretty dumb to all things automotive, about to order the same rear suspension though, whats the purpose of adding the blocks? I've just been reading through this thread and you're the first to say anything about it.

Rear shocks do not lift a truck. If you want a lift in the rear, you either need to (cheapest to most expensive): (1) add lift blocks; (2) add an "add-a-leaf" which adds 1-3 leafs to your rear leaf springs; or (3) purchase an entirely new pack of leaf springs (OME Dakars, Deavers, Icon RXT, etc.)

Would it be possible to do the fox shocks and set the front a +1 from stock and the rear at stock height so I wouldn't have to replace the leafs or UCA's? Similar height to the TRD Pro?

    Thanks,
    Grant

I do not see any issue with that. Although you will lose the factory "rake" of the truck (the difference between the front and the rear height of the vehicle.) With 1" in the front, you should be level, but if you carry any weight in the back you will likely have "bro-lean" (front is higher than the back.)

Placed 3 separate orders for Fox 2.0 Performance components about a month ago. Rear shocks showed up a few days after order was placed. Front coilovers showed up last week.

Thank you so much for your help, I think I'm just going to go with the 2.0 in the front and the 2.0 non adjustable ones in the rear and both just at stock height for now.

Are folks running 33 inch wheel/tire setups (and not the pizza cutter profile) with this Fox 2.0 setup without having to do much cutting/trimming?

I want to run 33’s, but want it to have a wider profile than the 255/85-16’s on stock wheels.

So I am going to assume that adding an entirely new pack of lead springs is the "best" way to go? What if your truck has 500 miles on it, is adding leafs just as good or still inferior to a whole new leaf pack?

That is exactly what I'm planning on doing with the 2.5's. IMO lifting an IFS truck via suspension isn't all that beneficial because lifting sacrifices down travel. I want an extra inch just to be sure to clear skinny 33's and that should be good for me.

285/70r17s on my 2nd gen. No cutting or trimming, just wheels with the appropriate amount of backspacing and offset. They rub a little fully stuffed, but its really not a problem most of the time.

I missed this before. If you were only going 1 inch in the rear, why wouldn't you go with the 116's that are listed as 0-1.5? https://www.ridefox.com/subhome.php?m=truck&make=Toyota&model=Tacoma+&year=2018&position=Rear
