2019 Tacoma issues

2019 Tacoma would start up then die, now starts but wont rev over 2000 rpm. Codes are P062D13 and P123513. Any Ideas? I am far from a dealer.

 

Free towing to the dealership with your warranty. Use it.

 

Best bet!
Ask about a free loaner too, dealers tend to hurry when the meter is running.

 

Sounds like you got a fuel delivery problem

 

2019 seem to have bad fuel pumps

Like the other guys said, get Toyota to tow it to a dealership, as you're under warranty.

Sounds like the Truck is in limp mode.

 

Any ideas on how to get it out of limp mode?

 

Fix the problem, but let the dealer do it. Could be a wire harness or the fuel pump or even the crank position sensor.

 

Could be CPS. Call Toy/Dealer for tow.

If you cant, disconnect battery negative for 30 minutes. Reattach and see if still in limp mode.

I had a brand new BMW 5 series that went into limp mode with only 140 miles on it 3 days after I left the dealer.

They gave me an M3 as a loaner and had it fixed in 2 days. Turns out it was something not connected correctly from the factory. (I tore that M3 loaner up!!)

I don't have the info on code P123513
But according to this it's in the fuel/injector circuit.

 

Yep ended up being the Inj Relay. Runs great again! Thanks for all the responses.

 

You're lucky this happened while it was under warranty. This issue hit us at 26,000 miles but the truck was 4 years old when it first came up....it wasn't considered part of power train warranty. It just occurred again this year and the dealership quoted us an $8000 repair. We said no way and took it to Goodyear who fixed it for $650.

 

Much more helpful to the community, when bumping a 3 year old thread, that the OP has never bothered following up on; would be including your vehicle's issues, the codes, what was initially quoted (for $8k), and what the actual fix was (for $650).
