Back before the economy crapped out my parents used to own some pawn shops. One day I was at one of their stores and I saw a guy I always saw begging for money and looking homeless. He walk's into a parking lot shopping plaza across the street for our store and I watch him get into an almost brand new Ram Air Trans-Am. Now I know this car was probably right around $30k at that time because I had just ordered one to celebrate getting a good professional job and having been there for over a year.

I was like WTF, I wonder how much this guy is making out begging for money.

 

I have done that before.

 

My wife gave a homeless guy asking for food some McDonalds once and he got all pissy. She told him if you want money ask for money. You asked for food and that's what I gave you.

 

Yep it's probably a crazy amount! It's hard for me to help anymore cause a lot are so dishonest around us.... if someone's really down on their luck, I've helped hundreds of times. But nowadays not as much as I use to. Except my kids, they're the reason im still broke!

 

I've given my food to people a few times and they actually ate it immediately everytime. It was pretty much everytime I visited Vegas there was someone saying they were hungry it seemed like.

 

I'm the type that would give someone the shirt off my back to help if they truly needed it. I hate scammers though.

 

Way to many scammers in the world now.

 

Sometimes when we go out to eat we look for someone in the place that we think could just really use a kind gesture and we try to pick up their tab. Sometimes it's an older person, or a police officer sometimes it's just someone random. I always feel like no matter my current situation I've been blessed and I want to do something nice for people.

That is the shit that pisses me off to sign says Hungry you hand them food and they don't want it. Had a lady at Grocery store ask for money for hotel for her and kids , Next night at walmart same lady different story .I have seen her for almost 2 months working both parkinglots .Guy would drop her and another lady off and park in the far corner So my wife sat and watched them and after an hour or so he would pick them up and go to another place.

 

Apparently he is a Hooker

 

Ya there are some near where we used to live. Some lady was out with the begging signs. I looked at her she had clean hair, nice hairdo, expensive shoes and crap like that. Looked at the wife and I was like BULLSHIT she is homeless, she is far too clean and well made up to be homeless.
