These were 1/2" heims. Way too small for a full size 4 link setup. I'd most likely get 3/4" possibly 1" to accommodate high misalignment and still use a decent size bolt and then upgrade to a much more sturdy version of heim. They're closer to 50-60 bucks depending on what you get.

Haha, I don't know of any manufacturer that has made an engine anywhere close to the old 22r/22re though.

A lot of the 3.4 are running 3 and 4 hundred thousand. I have one with 335,000 my son drives every day. There is a guy on here that has a 2000 3.4 supercharged with 600,000 +
Next road trip you on see how many Toyota's you see on the side of the road.
If I buy another daily driver it will be a Toyota

The Samurai comes with a lot of Denso and Aisin parts on it. I have add a lot of Toyota parts to it, about to convert it from carbonated to fuel injection and will be using a Corolla Throttle body lol

Yeah I knew you were talking about Toyota 22r.
I was saying the 3.4 is just about as reliable, I see a lot of them over 300,000.

Hey, don't rule out the 4.0 either, I got 300K on mine! With a new clutch in it, I'm hoping for another 300K more!

I never rule out a Toyota just saying the 1st gens have not been produced in 15 years and still selling for $5000 to 15,000 because they are so reliable.
