Have you checked the OBD fuse?

 

i have the kind that do not rust, the black ones, but they are weather worn and one was seriously overtightened at DT last time they were rotated. I could not easily get one off by hand with a serious back strain when I got the drums powder coated. I priced all new shiny ones and said damn that is rich!

I had not gone and aired up the tires till now.
I just went over and put air in the tires at 35 lb and all the numbers on the the head unit gauge show the same number of 34 lb now all being consistent so there might be a little error on this kit and on the air on the gauge where I got the air from ,
as for batteries go they last a couple years is what they say and the head unit turns on and off with ignition, The batteries take a minute or two at the most to replace, for what it is it's great information to have as opposed to NO information going down the highway.
I can live with a 1 degree difference.

 

Have you driven the road that goes to the south side of little hole? Need to go back there fishing and wanted to check that out.

Gotcha. Didn't really read the post the past couple days. Have you tried other ones in that port? I assume the parts stores are still hooking to the same port.

 

Unless it is twisted or cross threaded I have never heard of or even thought of replacing lug nuts as a wear item.

 

Well... One of the good things about camping in 25+freezing rain+snow with your wife is it makes it much easier to get her to approve purchases of new camping gear



Also stopped by Home Depot and bought a hose and some fittings for the air compressor project I'm working on.
80 Bucks for an ARB compressor... I couldn't pass it up.


And ordered a pressure switch, and dash switch.

Just need to get an inline fuse and some wire and I should be able to get it mounted.

And also ordered some deflators

 

Just tried a co-workers bluetooth unit and it worked. Guess my cheapo unit doesn't like my Taco. I replaced my plugs/wires when I did the VC gaskets a few months back, so those should be good. I'm suspecting it's coil related, so I'll swap them around tonight to see if the code follows the coil.

 

is that piece of wiring harness by the oil fill cap (rectangular shaped) loose at all?

120 ft/lbs? The torque spec guide for our trucks has it listed at 83 ft/lbs

That always seemed a bit low to me but I've never had an issues with them at that torque.

Yes 120#, cause then you’ll get to replace the studs too, double win.

90311-41012 as Mike mentioned. And the stake nut is 90179-22016 but don't buy one. I have an extrea one you can have if you want it.
