Truck pulls right, what do I ask for at the alignment shop?

22k on the odometer, slight but persistent pull to the right. Could be due to a good amount of off-roading.

What are ideal numbers to strive for at the alignment shop?

I am on TRD OR stock suspension running 255/85/16s with no rub, only considering an alignment due to the pull. New to alignments but I want as much positive caster as possible, right?

    Thanks!

First thing first. Make sure it’s not the tire. Switch the front left to right. If it pulls to the opposite side then it’s the tire. Happened to mine.

Could be your tires causing the pull as well. Swap front tires side to side & see if it changes.

    Edit, what balalo said.

Good point and while I’ve heard of people claiming the tires I’m running like to pull right, I’ve had this slight pull before I had them mounted.

The shop should provide the before and after printout. They should have the factory specs. If the after printout is all in the green then all is well.

Just go to the alignment shop, tell them it's pulling right, ask them to check the alignment and go over the current spec with you. If it's out of spec, ask them for an alignment. People going into shops asking for things they saw on the internet is how small problems turn into big problems. Assuming its a quality alignment shop, they already know what to do.

The truck pulls to the right because the right wheel is turning more slowly than the left.

    Reasons.

    1. Right side tire has been wearing faster and is now slightly smaller making the pull more noticeable.

    2. Friction is causing the right tire to turn more slowly (bearings, brakes, rubbing etc.)

    3. The alignment of the truck is off causing a slight lean to the right. This still means the outside tire travels ever so slightly more than the right one. (Look for outside edge wear on right tire/inside on left).

Firestone has a decent price on lifetime alignment. If the issue is hard to find for instance tires etc you may use that lifetime service more than once.

I got their lifetime alignment service, already paid for itself. Knocked it out of alignment twice (three times?) doing offroad shenanigans, and I take it in every time I rotate the tires.

I wondered if they would care that I'm running 255/85s, but they didn't balk the last two times.

I just brought mine in for the second time (firestone) 255/85 cooper max... Still pulling to the right, going to have the tires rotated again and see if it's still pulling. I'll post the alignment sheet later.

Mine slightly pulls to the right. Been told its due to the crown of the road so I just ignore it.

Still pulling after cross rotation. It's scary to let go of the wheel past 50...
