Costco had a random arrangement with Omega in 2006- 08 or so. Paid 1899.99 for the co-axial 39mm (NOT quartz). Daily wear watch, never serviced!

I believe retail at the time was 2700.00 or so. The real unicorn is the exact same co axial watch in 42mm. They are Selling used for more than original price of appx 3200.00!

I may buy the 42mm one day!

Just made the leap to an Apple series 3 watch once the new 5’s came out and these got cheap. I was hesitant because I try to not be on my phone all the time, but have actually found this has me on my phone less. The main push was my company enacting a “30 minute response time” to our on call, and I didn’t want to tote my work phone around my house all the time during my off hours. The fitness tracking is a fun game to play with yourself to hold yourself accountable, and being reachable by phone without carrying it all the time is nice.

I have the Primo (Black with blue stripes, black leather perforated band with blue stitching) and a triple black Axiom for a dress watch. I'll probably pick up a blue angel once I get my Primo back from repair. $120 to replace the crystal. Could probably get it done locally cheaper but Citizen will pressure test it afterwards as well. It's worth the $40-ish extra to me to have it fixed right. I paid almost $700 for the Primo, I might try a local repair on my Axiom since I got it on clearance for $160.

I switch between my Submariner and Omega Seamaster with a DOXA 1200 pro every once in awhile.

Lol, the Rolex was a gift to myself from myself after 26 years on the street. The Omega was what got me into mechanical watches, bought 20 years ago after my divorce.

Thanks, it’s a super watch, such a shame that they discontinued them. The wave dial and the lume are fantastic.

They’re a great watch, modified ETA movement and super thin for a mechanical watch. You can find them now and again in the $2-2500 range.
