Coyotes are one of the most adaptive predators if not the most. Controlling them can be tricky, there’s evidence to support that removing coyotes from an area will actually cause a rise in population.

Read Coyote America if you’re interested in that sort of thing

Family friend up in Bellingham lost half of their chicken coop in one night. Friend of family in Oregon even had a horse attacked and badly injured.

I dont subscribe to the idea that humans here to reign over every other animal. The world evolved with coexistence and every animal has a niche to fill - killing off all the predators [which for some people seems like a grand idea] is only going to hurt us and the ecosphere.

deleted the rest of my post because I'm obviously the minority

You don't need to delete your post.

Not pointed at you, just all of us in general.

A proper mature dialog includes an understanding that we all have different backgrounds and opinions. As long as the views are within the boundaries of morality and law, there should be a respect for one another and an open mind (you may learn or teach something).
Sadly, today's media (to include major networks), dissenting politicians, and the social deterioration due to internet relationships (via Facebook and the like), have created this current condition we have right now.

Having said that, I am on this planet to eat tasty animals. They can be very delicious and when in balance with vegetables and fruit, provide the proper nutrition a human needs.

I spent almost two years as a vegetarian. Initially, things improved. In the long run, I became weaker and had a decline in health. The initial improvement can be attributed to a cessation of consuming deep fried foods to include fries that tend to come as sides to meat based meals. The weakening in the long run was due to a lack of proper proteins and a balanced diet.
What I did gain was a greater appreciation for vegetables and now make them the largest portion of my meal.

There is no way the human is equal and not greater to lesser animals.
That does not mean that animals should be mistreated or harvested to extinction.
Most hunters make all attempts for a clean, instant kill to prevent suffering of the animal and it also tends to preserve the most meat.
I have never hunted but hope to hunt a deer next year. I think it would be a good experience for me and potentially useful knowledge in dressing out the animal as a survival skill.
While I prefer as much as the animal as possible be used there are those that just can't realistically be eaten (coyotes).

The idea that humans are singly responsible for an unbalanced ecosystem and wildlife population is an outright farce.
While humans have had an impact both directly and indirectly, climate change/shift (which happens naturally without the impact of humans) and natural disasters have and will always continue to cause imbalances and extinctions.
Humans didn't kill of the dinosaurs now did they.

That being said, we are the caretakers of the planet and should, within reason, work to reduce the negative impacts we contribute to the environment.

Just one man's knowledge and opinion here.

In other non animal related news:

I have a set of 1yr old OME nitro sport struts with 886 coils on them. Any one out there running a strut combo with 700# coils that is thinking they are a little heavy for them? I need to go up in spring rate but there are not any heavier springs that will fit on an OME strut (at least not for certain) and I am not exactly looking forward to ordering new front suspension again lol

Started getting some weird clunking noises from my front end today, looks like my uniballs are finally done for.

In other news my cam tabs on the passenger side are bent to shit so that's probably adding to the issue.

If it makes you feel better mine have needed replacing for the last 1k miles. I sound like a race truck everywhere though! Not clunking but nice like squealing every time i turn the wheel. Between them and the squeaky dakars Im pretty sure everyone thinks the truck is falling apart lol

Oh yeah, I have given up on the Dakars. They weren't too bad until it started raining again but now they are back to full force.

I'm actually amazed the uni-balls haven't given me issues until now, I have ~60k miles on them. I'm pretty sure they have been bad for a bit but were so packed with gunk that it was keeping them tight.

I've got new set of projectors with Halo/switchback on the way, I almost pulled my d2s 4.0's out of the Tacoma to put in my ls400. I still need to make new clear acrylic lenses for the Lexus as it's got glass fluted lenses.

Btw: go-jo/fast orange/pumice hand cleaner can be used as a buffing compound if needed, or added to existing compound to stretch it further.
