Sounds good to me! I can easily keep up with the prerunner stuff just when it comes to rocks and such it will take me some skinny pedal and big run ups!

im pretty sure that 4x4 and prerunners share the same suspension while the squatty 2x4s have a different set up

yea the non prerunner 4x2 are the little tiny trucks. the prerunner looks just like the 4x4 minus the 4x4 part.

You could get a locker for it. I don't know that you'd want to go with a used one though. If I remember correctly, an aftermarket locker such as an ARB is actually 'better' than the stock locker. Can someone confirm or deny?

There's a lot of info on the site about that kinda thing.

i have been using my stock locker for 9 years now... don't see how an ARB locker would be better... figure if it locks the diff, it locks the diff... if buying a used truck, if you could find one with a stock locker, it means you have the money you would have dropped on a locker available for something else....

the only upside to an ARB locker is that you have to have a compressor and air tank...and im pretty sure i dont need to explain the benefits of that
