Not the same as the cars in my opinion since easy to work on the bike.

I had a 2014 BMW 535i that I sold as soon as the warranty was up so I know what you mean but not the same with the bikes.

Ah okay, I didn't know that difference! I've been thinking about a big bike for my commute. I was leaning toward a new 1250GSA, but now that Honda announced all the new goodies, I'm split.

Don’t know much about motorcycles, but I do know the CHP has kept their BMW bikes for up to 140k+ miles with little issues and were quick as hell. Some of the CHP folks told me at one of the auctions that they all HATED the Harley’s replacing the BMW bikes as they weren’t nearly as quick and broke down often.

Fuck you CA and your gun laws. I had a Ruger SR9C when I was in WA. It was stolen from my garage along with other things (back story for a later time). ATF calls me 3 weeks ago asking if I want it back now that the case is closed. Of course I do. But, CA law says because it CAN allow for a 17 round mag, it is illegal and cannot be purchased/shipped here.

However, I wonder if I can get around that because the gun was already purchased and in a federal custody? Guess I'll find out from the ATF later.

Value is a real hard thing to measure. The thing I didn't like about the Honda was it seems like it should have made more power. Maybe the 2020 will address that? The rest is gravy. The smaller tank is a huge disadvantage when traveling long distance but the lighter weight in the dirt makes up for that. Same kinda for shaft vs chain.

idk. Seems like it's a great bike on the surface.

I got a FFL In the santa Clara who can receive the mag and block it to 10rounds for likely pretty cheap.

I think its because the gun itself comes with the ability to have a 17 round with a grip extender for the extended mag. The other mag it comes with is a 10rd. Maybe I can tell the agent not to send the mags with it and I'll just buy a new one? Worth a shot if I can do that.

If they keep the mags and you get 10 rounders, you should be good. You should be exempt from the roster and shit too.

600 mile break in then every 6k after that. Water boxers are pretty easy. 4 and 6 cylinder are more expensive.

So, ship it to someone out of state, pick it up, bring it into the state. Your AD military so no requirement for you to register it. Unless, you’re a CA resident then you’re screwed. If not, CA can’t make you register a handgun cause you’re not a resident.

Thats the shitty thing about WA too though. In order to "transfer" a weapon to another person, they have to run a background check on them. This is supposed to be EVERY time a gun changes hands.
