At least the Vectrex had the ability to make Polygons.

Sort of, technically the vectrex didn't have the ability to draw more than one single point at a time and relied on the light decay time of the CRT phosphors to satisfy the human persistence of vision.

I'm so over these Disney Marvel things, the first of each series minus thor, hulk,and aquaman are where I draw the line, the aforementioned series can fuck themselves entirely because they're lame superheroes.

 

It was otherwise an impossible system at the time without CRTs... we reproduce it now with LCDs by making delay times super high haha

 

I wish I had never gotten rid of my Sony Trinitrons. Those were the good shit. I had one that would support 1080i too

 

I had a Toshiba 1080i CRT, was very clear. Even had HDMI

and it was unbeatable for gaming huh

 

I don't remember it being bad but it was just the TV I had in my room. I had a 3 LCD projector in the spare room they gave me about 108 in screen and a kick-ass sound system so I usually just gamed on that instead. Was nicer for split screen too, since each half was still way bigger than a TV.
