Finally put some real tires on my 750, pretty much what they should come with from the factory instead of the glorified street tires BMW ships them with. Though in their defense I guess they did pretty well since I rode over 1000 miles in dirt, mud and gravel and only went down once.

I could be wrong but that front tire looks like it's mounted backwards

that way the tread gets the bike on top of the dirt, rather than digging down

It’s not but they definitely look backwards when you first see them.

Nope. I had planned on it but once I got them in my hands I didn't want to fight sidewalls that stiff and went to a shop.

Jealous of the set up. Too short to ride that style of bike otherwise I would definitely have one.

Go to a dealer and sit on a few, you might be surprised. I have about a 32” inseam and can flat foot this F750 with a 32.1” seat. BMW also offers low seats and low suspension packages which combined takes it down to 30.3”. You lose the centerstand and the fancy electronic suspension though.

Yeah, no shit. If you don’t want to spend the money don’t go for a test ride, that’s pretty much how I ended up with mine. If you really want a smaller, lighter, cheaper BMW the 310GS is only around $6k.

Weird. Is it not designed for water siping to the outside?

Edit - Disregard, read the other member's comment.

My buddy says the R-Nine-T starts around $11k. That's really not bad at all!

Nice. I never see Anniversary editions in white. Always black and blue ones.
