I would go with the 2019 TRD Pro, but it’s completely your decision, so make the choice that’s most comforting to you.

The TRD Pro is being discounted nearly as much as lower trims, so I’d say he has a pretty good deal with $4,600 off.

Because it’s a business and that’s how dealerships make money. If widget A gets sold wholesale to company B for 5.00, and they sell it to you for 7.00, they make 2.00 dollars.

Anyone got more pictures of the TRD OFF ROAD taillights, on more of a global view a few feet from the truck? Seen a lot of close up here but not how it affects the 5-10ft visuals of the truck.

Ughhhhh, as someone who has wanted a taco for so long, and finally have some money together and the right life situation for one, these are just so disappointing. I know it’s a weird hill to die on In terms of disliking an entire vehicle, I just can’t get over the ugly. Making me strongly consider a 4Runner.

You could always swap in TRD Pro Tails in to replace those tacky chrome ones.

Does it include the tails, I thought the masses weren’t clear on that?

    Will the standard sr5 work?

I would think any Tacoma tails would work.

How many different OEM tail lights are there?

Forgive my ignorance but I don’t see that package anywhere, other than the one that is the LED/headlight surrounds- but pretty sure that doesn’t include tails?

Do we know if there is an option to black that out?

I doubt in the form of an Option Package, but the blacked out ones would be from the TRD Pro.

Yep and I think the SR5 ones might be also similar, so those are an option if they lock down the Pro ones.

I don't think the blackout package includes the taillights. Just overlays for the emblems, the tailgate lettering inserts, and the black exhaust tip.

Oddly enough seems like a lot. SR/5, Sport, Off-Road, Limited, Pro I think all have different?

LED upgrade doesn't do anything for the taillights, only the headlights and fogs. I think the other person was thinking of the blackout option, but that doesn't do anything for taillights either.

In the end, I would hope that it won't dissuade anyone from getting the Tacoma they want. It is pretty easy to swap them out.

I was dead set on getting a fully loaded OR. But with the discounts people are getting on the Pro's and the fact that the fully loaded OR is only about 1800 less than a Pro I may change my mind. Then there is the fact I am not buying till around April of 2020 so hopefully getting a deal will be even easier.

Pretty much the same here. I'm holding off on buying because I'll have to order a fully loaded OR with 6MT and that will likely take a few months to come in. I don't want to get delivery in the middle of winter since I want a chance to put some Fluid Film or some other kind of undercoating before the salt hits it (in MN so they salt HEAVILY). So I'm waiting until spring. Will have to consider the costs and discounts when the time comes. I really wanted a Cement OR, but Army Green Pro is looking mighty tempting...

I can’t wait until the dealer lots have all the trims in stock so I can see for myself. I’m not offended by the chrome rears because I’ll be getting a silver truck, but they do look kinda goofy on other colors.

Some of the Toyota decisions are odd. Like the lovely 2020 two tone fabric interiors. WTF?

I still don't see that. Can you do me a favor and run a search for a TRD Pro in 15601. I get 15 results but I don't see what dealers are getting them. I want a WHITE TRD Pro.
