    Well I’ve never specifically hunted bear . All the time I’ve spent in the woods I only saw one bear . But normally there are not a lot of bear where I hunt . But starting tomorrow when I hunt New Jersey my buddy wants them all dead :notsure: guess they are like rats down there :rofl: Not sure if I will shoot one ,just have to wait and see if one walks in front of me .

    I suppose if a giant bear walked out in front of me I would put an arrow through it .........but the wife would be upset . It’s like a big dog

    Thats a perfect tree for a climbing stand. Get yourself a climber they are great and super comfortable. Keeps your scent up high too.

    Ha! That tree’s in my back yard (hung the stand on it to paint it)! That stand is going on the mountain behind my parents house. There’s a ladder stand that’s going to be 20 yards from it. Sometimes I just want to hunt from the ground, and sitting on that log hurts my ass!

    I bought a box of that leverevolution in 45-70 and was super impressed... Two bullets 1 hole at 100 yards from a lever gun blew my mind... And only a half inch higher at 100 than 25 is all you can ask for a short range round... That's just propped on a table and a bath towel too... No vice here

    Nice ,I haven’t used mine in years . I used to make arrows. I have a Apple arrow saw similar to yours and tons of fletching stuff and jigs . I even tried my hand at cresting arrows . They came out pretty good ,sold a few sets . I just haven’t touched the stuff in a while .

    I finally got around to making something for my saw. I had it bolted to my workshop bench for years. I have a old tackle box full of Archery miscellaneous stuff its a hoot to tinker with.
