    I could have retired at 20.... That doesn't change. It's when you received your retirement that changes.
    I was told divorce is expensive because it's worth it. Be happy that's all your paying.... Mine has cost somewhere along the lines of $15,000-$18,000

    i have heard that before. luckily for me its simple and no fighting over assets or anything. plus no kids.

    There were no real assets to fight over... It was my kids that he was trying to get me to to agree to some stupid shit. Then all the times I had to drag his ass back to court for this reason or that....

    That and I don't get the full retirement am AD person does. So the longer I stay in, the more points (or retirement is based on how many points we have) I get, which means I'll get more $b for my retirement party check.
