It gets better after a full tank.

And gets even better after that with the 21175 2.0 tune.

    This^ well said
If you are anything near a serous manual driver, this tune is a must have.
If your still on the fence and are ever in the New Market area,it would be my pleasure if you test drive it. Oh! And consider the AD mod to.

Some would argue a short shifter (URD or Core) is the third part of this unholy trinity..

Hey Kevin, question for ya (for science) - Do you get a maintenance reminder in your cluster (orange triangle?) when you're on or about oil change mileage (every 16K)?
Have you ever seen that warning or had to reset it?

Morning skipper ,,, I've got 19000 on her now,,, I've done 2 oil changes myself ,, I've gotten a rotate tire notice that came up on main display as well as a change oil notice ,,, didn't have to reset anything ,,just clicked the option " don't show me this again",,,,

Question for you ,, do you have tpms ?I don't in the 18 and I didn't have it in older one either ,,,

    Thank you sir..

Yeah I deleted the Oil Change and Tire Rotation maintenance items on the head unit, and unchecked the "Reminder" button.

The reason I asked you this is it appears 'Murican trucks have a maint reminder that operates differently. I've had guys swear that you can't turn that shit off. Dunno, must be a difference with our Canuck trucks I guess... :notsure:

I do not have TPMS, but this truck seems to have every other option lol

Did the 12 mile drive to work this AM. It started raining again.( We've been dry for a couple days) Easy to break the tires loose. Hills such a Novelty Hill much easier in 3rd. Power band shifted.

Ok it's not like twin turbos but $700 I say do it.

That is the plan. Well maybe not shutting up. Only after FOB seems routine.

Our trucks have the maintenance reminder in the radio and the driver info center in the cluster. I can find a way to turn off the reminder in the cluster.
The owners manual has instructions to reset, off the top of my head I’m not remembering the sequence.

    Trip A showing
    Key off
    Hold trip button
    Key on
Wait for the circles to disappear.

The ease of this has kept me from digging deeper, but if what @MOC221_ said works, I will dive in blow out all the reminders. It could just be one of those differences that separate us though?

or you can just go all the way to the right in the MFD and select maintenance reset
