Free 265/75/16 Duratracs, quantity 4 with 44000 miles on them. Starting to wear wonky and have been having a hard time keeping them balanced.

I will be getting new tires put on tomorrow and will dispose of them if no body here needs then. Let me know if you want me to hold them.

They are located in southern Maine

Decided to pull a @Subway4X4 and run a 6 tire rotation plan... all the same size, matched pairs that I rotate in/out and I think I might have a 7th with a brand new tire on it as well... I have this for two different wheel setups... and yes I do have 9 full sized wheel/tires in my basement on top of the 5 on the vehicle... lol damn I just realized this...

That's not even half of it... I stock spares of all critical components on the truck... except the exhaust apparently... which is what's giving me problems.

3.75 each? thats 15 bucks man, how can you turn that down?

where abouts in the southern part of the state are you, and if I had 16" rims, I would take them just to tear em up, but I may know someone who might take them.

    Everything TW members recommend
This, IMO, is the best and easiest way to get even tire wear for 4WD vehicles.

It’s a harder hit financially at the start for this additional tire, but long term, it’s a wash for tire lifespan.

I even include my trailer tires in the ten tire rotation.

Okay this is what I came up with:

Wheels with tires mounted on them:
265/65/16 set (6) old set of wheels for the truck
285/75/16 set (3) to match the five on the truck as rotating options
255/45/17 set (4) for evo aftermarket setup
245/45/17 set (4) for evo stock winter setup
205/55/16 set (4) for my base Lancer ES beater
2 Stock Nissan GTR front wheels

    Wheels with no tires
Two wheels no tires recoated for the truck's old set of wheels
1 spare matte black F5 wheel no tire that I will rotate in if I crack the a wheel (esp with @Skierrichy spotting me...)

Buying a spare set of wheels for the new daily Ford Fusion for winters soon too.. but those wheels are being kept at my parents house since I'm out of space.

I don't see an issue here. I just see a need for you to build a shed to store them all. That's what I'm doing.
    What problem?

Or actually, @Bruce988jl if you actually do live in Boston, I live in Brookline, so I could possibly hold some for you.

Actually over in Waltham, I'm in Brookline a lot to see my buddies. We should meet up sometime.
Is your shed going to be temp/humidity controlled? Just curious because I was told that affects the longevity of tire storage.

Hell yeah we should meet up. I've seen a modded taco around Brookline Village, but that was one random time I was passing the area.
Not really. We will have an exhaust fan with a temp sensor for when it gets too hot, but not for cold or humidity.
That might be something for me to look into tho. If it isn't too expensive to install, I'll probably go ahead and do that.

Sounds good I'm on travel for the next week or so but I'll see if I can setup a quick meet n greet with whomever's in the area. Maybe at a local restaurant or something.
