I don’t like the factory ones, looks like the truck is lower to the ground. I’m sure most of you know what I’m talking about. I was something that kinda looks tucked away but still useable since my lady doesn’t want me to get rid of the ones I have (she’s on the shorter side) this is what I was looking at. Any input would help!

If the factory set make the truck look lower to the ground, the 2 set you in your picture are even lower. At least the factory sit flush with the body line, those 2 will sit below the frame.

You need rock slider, not nerf/step bar then

There isn't really a good option for "is tucked up out of the way" but "still usable as a step".

One possibility would be those motorized ones that tuck up to the body, but tilt down when you open the door. Those are expensive, and I doubt they'd hold up to getting beaten against a rock. If you're not interested in off-roading, those may be an option.

My sliders are tucked up and low profile, but more of a tripping hazard, i.e. not useful as a step. To make these useful as a step, they would have had to have been much lower and stick out more, which is the opposite of what I wanted.

You can see them here (4xInnovations sliders)

They don't make that for our 1st gens....sadly...or I would've jumped on that.

None of those in the OP will mount up, well maybe the 2nd one if its welded but bolt on? no.
