    Will do. I'm doing both lol I don't trust the CRC previous experience with family Tundra and Sequoia but if that's what it takes to extend the warranty so be it

    The Sequoia had the same issue??? My 05' only died because of the ECM and that's why we have the truck.

    Oh man I'm glad my 05 Sequoia didn't have that issue. Although it was rusting pretty bad, it looked surface only.

    So I just received the Toyota frame replacement notice yesterday. I'm the third owner and didn't think my truck fell under the replacement umbrella but I guess I was wrong. Should I go have it checked at a dealership before getting the wool wax or does it matter?

    shouldn't matter but doesn't hurt, if you're going to end up with a new frame no point in coating the current one

    Thanks, I can see surface rust on the frame but I have no idea if it's bad enough to get the replacement, does anyone in this thread have experience with the replacement, does the dealership just swap the frame or does it have to be in really bad shape? I think it says I have 2 years from when I get the notice to have it checked, maybe I should wait for a year or so before having it looked at.

    I can also find a better thread to ask this in too.
