A paradox. Unlucky and lucky at the same time. Hard to believe they can charge that much for them and get away with it in this day and age. A new state of the art cell phone costs less and does so much more. Can't surf the Web with them, or pay a bill or take pictures or light your way in the dark or wake you up in the morning or.........

    Rant over.

Brand new and first post! Bought my new 2019 Tacoma on August 20 and has 479 miles, so far it has been great. My first post and upgrade has to be the worst. Took the Taco into the Dealership to fix the hood flutter last Monday and went to pick it up today. What a hack job they did to my hood! Looks like they went to HomeDepot and bought expanding foam, then tried to paint the underside of the hood with so called matching flat paint. Now, when you look at the outside of the hood its wavy. Told the service rep that this is not expectable and when I open the hood it should look brand new like the day I bought it. Looks like it needs a new hood, they are never going to get this to look right. Only wish I had taken pictures. Dealership did give me a rental while they try to figure out what to do. I'm so screwed!!!!!!!!

Well, off topic disclaimer, these sound (irony?) like they will be pretty cool, rechargeable, BT (but not with Entune apparently, lol) where I can play music and other ambient noise from a special app on the smartphone. I don't even want to know what they cost.......

If they don't do the job correctly contact corporate headquarters at Toyota and file a complaint. You'll be alright, just some unecessary BS. Once you get squared away remember that you can take your Taco to any Toyota dealership for your Toyota Care service, you're not oblighted to stay with any particular dealership. Good luck and welcome to TW!

Figure around 3k each as a base point. All depends on style and severity of your hearing loss. That's why I don't have a pair. 3k just a guess based on my experience. Remember what the govt. paid for hammers and toilet seats! Cost is irrelevant, you earned whatever the VA has to offer and then some, all our vets do!
Happy for you Bud, good luck. Oh, you can still use the selective hearing gambit. "Sorry honey, they must need recharging!" :D

Me and my Mahindra! More often than not I'm disappointed when someone else does work for me. Not always, but enough to the point that I'm gun shy. You do something yourself and the only person that you can find fault with is you.

We're here for each other because we all share a common interest. We feed off each others ideas and knowledge. Today you may feed off me, tomorrow I may feed off you, that's how it works and why I like this site as much as I do. We don't always agree and we may not always get along with one another but we all share. Works for me!

I just got these this weekend, and they are amazing. Bone conduction headphones.
    https://www.amazon.com/AfterShokz-W...on+Headphones&qid=1570128388&s=gateway&sr=8-4

They work by some principle of dark magic, projecting sound into your head through the bone. I have pretty bad tinnitus (22 years in the military around Very Loud Shit) and these don't bother me like everything else because they don't go into your ear. Anything at the opening to my ear ramps up the ringing, especially earplugs.

Bonus is that they don't fall off at the gym, I can hear normal conversations with my unimpeded ears while wearing them (it's like there's an invisible radio on in the background) and I can literally wear them all day and forget they are there.

No idea how they'd work alongside of hearing aids or for someone with advanced (more than mine) hearing loss, but they can't be any worse.

    VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Interesting! 50% loss so I don't know, but interesting and a whole lot cheaper.
Just got a call from the delivery service, Fab Fours bumper arrives Friday.
Also just bought some raised glove box letters from @tacos4cheap. Didn't have the color that I wanted on Amazon but hooked me up just the same. They look great and much nicer than the plain vinyl letters. He's both a TW member and a vendor. Check out his thread and show your support!
