Mine is giving me anxiety too. May be Overkill but I'm going to hook up a cooler when I do the pump, rack, and intermediate shaft.

 

I locked so hard at Windrock ATR 2019 that I broke the switch... Oh well the ARB switches use incandescent bulbs and get way hotter than I would like them to be so I ordered up some otrattw.com led switches. Two things I didn't realize is they share a ground between the bulbs(which isn't a huge deal), and that the switches are opposite of how I use the rest of my switches. I like having the bar light on with dash lights and the square on with the accessory.

Since I'm in a working mood, I chacked my headlights. They have been bouncing around a lot and have gotten out of alignment. Looks like the pot metal locking nut gave out.. Nice that TRS has new upgraded cnc cluminum lock nuts on the 5.0 projectors but never bothered mentioning that to past customers. I sent an email, let's see how long I'm driving without headlights..

After a chat with TRS I've got some new lock nuts on the way and threw in some new bulb holders to try out. I hope they get here before I need to be in PA for a wedding.

 

Added a 4.7k ohm resistor inline to my switches so I can hopefully see at night.. The LEDs are bright as hell!

On another note I was just hoping to 'aluminum weld' this lock nut back together while I wait on the parts from TRS... Well fuck... I hope the parts get here tomorrow..

 

Looks like pot metal, cheap dregs of alloy that doesn’t generally lend itself to repair. Welcome to ‘70’s muscle car hell

Headlight retrofit rebuild. The d2s knurled lock rings I got are the crap pot metal ones.. Seriously if you have this kind check and see if they're intact and get new ones from the d2s 5.0s.

 

My power steering is groaning when trying to turn without moving, like parralel parking. The rack has been leaking and I got it mostly under control with some stop leak. Figured maybe flushing the fluid would help, so I ran about 2 qts of fluid through it. 256446 miles, at this point it's just band-aid fixes until I buy a new rack.

Well, the doors haven't fallen off yet, so it's a pretty safe assumption you'll be running it a little bit longer.

 

Wanged my alignment this weekend at URE, have been putting off resetting my UCA's to the same adjustment, so brought it in to knock out 2 birds.

Idk if it was the LCA TC cam tab gussets, the Whiteline bushings, or what but Firestone just came out telling me they couldn't get the caster any lower without charging extra for more time to mess with the LR SPC UCA's. I'm ok with these numbers though! Daniel is awesome!
