Thanks a lot man, I love this truck so much. Yea I got in a minor accident in stop and go traffic on the freeway... thought it was a fender bender but my frame ended up getting bent. They wanted to replace the entire frame as well as repair the rear bumper and a side panel. It was gonna be over $12k so insurance just totaled it. Worked out well financially but I was really bummed to say goodbye to my 2011. Sounds like you had a gnarlier crash!

I got Fox 2.0 in the front and rear as well as AAL in the back. 3" in the front and 2" in the back. Tires are 285 BFG KO2's and the wheels are Method 701's. 16" I think. I'm really happy with how it looks and feels. My old truck had a 2" spacer lift in the front and I believe 265's. Always loved that setup too. Definitely getting worse gas mileage with the 285's.

Looking good, so jealous of all you folks on the south side of the wall who can get Off-road longbeds.

and believe it or not, it's actually a pretty rare combo to see on the road. I can count on one hand how many I've seen where I live. I figured they'd be a little more popular..

Thats surprising! I rarely ever see any short beds where I live and the ones I do see are usually Sports which only come in a MT config up here. I’d say 9 out of 10 of the Tacos I see on the road both 2nd and 3rd Gen are DCLB Sports.

It's Toyota's marketing distribution. They only make so many of a particular configuration, and they tend to ship them where they can sell them for the most $$.

We Amerikanskis would love to see a DCLB Limited, but it ain't to be (only y'all Canuckistanis). Most of the DCLBs I see in my area are SR5s, with only a sprinkling of TRD/ORs. I had to get my dealership to change the configuration of one of their inventory units to a DCLB Sport, and that added 3 months to the build date (because of their manufacturing process). Even then, I am a rare TRD Sport that isn't 4WD - those tend to be SR5s.

No one is getting a manual DCLB because the engineers decided it that way.

It is was it is. I've come to accept it, but it doesn't mean we have to like it.

Also, ima be in your area for the first time ever in 2 weeks. I'll keep a count of how many i see there

Gotta eat the brisket while you're down here. It's the state vegetable.

The best advice I can give you is to ride the meat sweats out. Once you get past that you're golden.

Oh, and brisket and bacon together are magical, especially in a breakfast taco.

I like the decal. The white is subtle. If you could score some MGM ones that would be sweet too.

Thanks ! I went ahead and put them all on, I got them on Etsy haha. Figure I can peel them or swap them if I change my mind. Got the grill on, ran out of daylight to get the black door badges on.
