Made my XJ downright quick. It's fun to put it in 4wd and floor it next to loud Mustangs or Cameros at a red light. Not saying it's anywhere near as fast but the damn thing does launch!

Mustang 5.0 injectors, a beefy fuel pump, Bank's performance headers, no cats and a custom exhaust give it a good bit of torque

Got my 42 inch light bar in today. I need to drill two holes on the rack so I can mount the light bar. I don’t own a Drill.
4WP and or any mechanic shop should be able to do it correct ?

I think @BassAckwards and @MattCowsmasher answered everything. When Chris swapped out my original rear pumpkin for Matts used tru-trac one, he had to pull the rear axles just enough to disengage the rear. Now I had a set of bearings that I bought anyway, but we didn't use them. He did it drain to fill and done in 2 hours. Having to change the axles bearings and seals would have more than doubled it. There's some pix of the axles in my Readers Digest.

I'll have to get caught up in your thread! I've been busy lately and my creeping has all but stopped completely.

I would like to replace bearings and seals and any gaskets while I'm in there, the truck is a member of the 100k+ club now so it wouldn't hurt to do so. Just need to start collecting, pinching, and reading to figure out what gear ratio I want to go with.

End of day one and "they are still looking into problem." Does anyone know what happens if they are unable to find the issue with the truck? I know it is small, but the integrity of the locking system is jeopardized until the issue is resolved, but there is no telling where this electrical gremlin could be.

missed this part "I would like to replace bearings and seals and any gaskets while I'm in there, the truck is a member of the 100k+ club"

I thought I would have to as so close to 200. But just had the rear brakes done a month or two before, and no mention of grease or issues - Matt & Chris said if I didn't see anything coming out, and was having no problems, just leave them.

It's not "small" if it involves the locks.

Yep, don't replace things that are operating correctly or you could cause a problem.
