Ahh gotcha. I've got a set of the "newer" LR UCAs with the zerk on top and they are extremely quiet.

Kidwidataco could you post some closer pictures of the UCAs. Im getting new ones from SPC as part of their warranty. The last ones I bought a month ago are garbage. They mentioned to me that I installed them incorrectly, therefore making the popping/clunking noise. I say bull shit.:crapstorm:

Will do I’ll post them tomorrow when I have some daylight. I made sure I was getting the newest version and my buddy has had his for 50k miles so I felt good about them. Was leaning towards TC but for the price, my intended use and the adjustability I felt it fit my needs.

I had Nexen M/T’s on my last truck as winter tires and loved them, quiet for M/T’s and were good on road and off. I may get the AT’s to replace the current BFG’s.

Yesterday, today & tomorrow, started the fight against rust. I removed the skid plate & support arms for sand blasting. I also removed the crash bar extensions and will have them blasted at the same time. I ordered replacement window weather strips for the tops of the window openings on the doors. MAACO really buggered them up when the truck was painted. I think they call them 'bead moldings', for those wanting to order. ( I think if you say thingies for the window openings, they will find the right part ;) ) Will have the parts ready for pick up tomorrow. Supposed to have good weather on Saturday, good day to paint everything!

Does anyone know what these threaded nuts are for? Keep in mind I have a pre-runner.
