Anyone have a totalled 4x4 extended cab that they'd be willing to cut the driver side floor pan and rocker panel out of (Assuming it's in good condition)? Mine is rusted out and I'd like to cut out and weld in a new one. If anyone is willing, I can send pics of how large a piece I need, and I can pay asking price/shipping to Canada.

I do have a extra cab but I really dont want to cut it up. If I do I will never be able to get rid of the rest.

If your floor is rusted out, then how does your frame look?

Frame isn't terrible. In the process of cutting out rot and Safe-T capping it. Rides a hell of a lot stiffer and better now with one side already done.

For a year I tried to find used parts like you. Never happened. Had to get creative and fabricate out of sheet metal, cut, weld, seal, paint. All done. I suggest you save yourself the time searching and do likewise. I would have been done long ago but thought I'd keep waiting... and that never came to any good. I should make a build thread. Lemme attach some pics.

    Nice work.

Happy I don't have to deal with that here. Here's the frame of my old '98 SR5 with 450,000 miles.

Honestly I figured I would be going the route of fabricating my own pieces fairly soon, but I thought I'd post a thread before I start just incase I can find some. Nice work, thanks for posting pics!

Also, you don't happen to want to sell that 98 SR5 eh? That frame basically looks brand new! Hate living in road salt.

You're too late by about a month, I just sold it. California truck its entire life. Not a single spec of rust.

It was so shiny once I wiped the dust off, I could see my reflection in it.

I don't know how to drive Manual. Plus I don't need two trucks, haha.

I bought it for $600 parts only without a title outside Sacramento, and tagged it in Vermont to get around only having a bill of sale.

Nice, heard he put a new bed on it. My efforts to save the bed I got from you were futile.

I have a rust hole in my truck as well, I got lucky and managed to find a donor in the junkyard that only had surface rust on it, so I whipped out the sawzall grabbed it immediately. I only hope that my results turn out as good as @BartMaster1234.

Nice. I did all my work to fix the problem a while back and everything is holding up fine.

@testelle I was actually intendeding to quote your pictures in my first post and tag you but somehow managed to flub it up My typing skills are a mess but welding work is excelent! Quick What did you do about the gas lines when cutting into the floor? I'm not sure of the best way to get around them cutting and plug them off, removing them, bending them out of the way, or leaving them in place just using caution when cutting into the floor?
