Drive from RI to VT today. 4 hrs, lots of hills and still averaged nearly 24 mpg. I never drove more than 5 mph over the speed limit because the weather was crappy. Pretty impressed.

275/70R17s and armored with stock gears.

i know it's been posted, but i can't find where the instructions are to know what calibration my truck has. Anyone have a link? I've already Dl'd Techstream

Edit: I am getting an error that TS isn't connecting to VIM. So I guess the obd connector isn't communicating with TS on my PC, any ideas?

In techstream click on setup then click on the VIM select option and make sure that it shows open port 2.0 in selection box.

Doesn't look like I have that option. I have the obd adapter and the USB connected:

Looks like the drivers aren't installed as it should show up with the drivers installed. Drivers for the tactrix adapter that is.

I've gone back a bit, and can't seem to find anything, But I have three questions relating to the tunes. I'm running just the economy base tune to give some more throttle response, and to help with shifting.
    1. is the ECT button pretty much pointless with a tune? or does it just make it better?
    2. Can I have the gear lock feature flashed as well as the economy tune? I like to have fun with the truck from time to time
    3. Ive noticed that the truck when I'm going down the highway 70-80 mph no matter how hard I press the gas pedal to maintain speed up the hill the truck will downshift two gears it seems and peg the RPM's around 5500 until I let off then it will shift up to the gear it should have shifted to. is their a fix for this? or should I just accept that aspect?

Thanks in advance for your input, and I know the first two I could possibly figure out myself, but I am pretty hopeless with the tuning aspects and figured I would ask then mess something up.

Right now, ect still works as normal unless you have a gearlock tune flashed. In the future tunes, I think it will be possible.

Also right now, gearlock tunes are all performance. Final 2.0 tune may change that.

What ecu are you? There was a dead pedal issue with one of the late tunes that Mat corrected with a follow up tune.

19800. Using 93 octane fuel. Was running 19770 and loved everything about it except for the tip-in. For the initial 19800 load I did not reset values with TS, however I felt like it was shifting kind of weird so I reset the values right before leaving on the long drive and it drove extremely well.
I especially liked the way it performed in the mountains. It just shifted smoothly when it needed to without me having to think about it.

Did you submit a ticket to zendesk?

Number 3 also happens on 2.0 beta 11600 when on a hill, exactly like you described it, even at 65 mph. It depends though on the hill incline. If it's gentle, it will shift down nicely just one speed. If the hill incline is steeper, it will go down two gears and rev like crazy and pick up speed until it shifts up again. Then it will slow down again, and if the hill is long enough, it will repeat the pattern. (ticket #10329)

If I were to trade my 2019 for a 2020, do we need to buy the tune all over again?

I had asked Mat about this because I decided to trade my 2019 for a 2020 right after purchasing (tried to cancel my order). He told me I would NOT have to purchase anything additional. I would just need to provide the 2020 files off the new truck. Maybe he can clarify, but I think a new registration is only needed when switching between owners...

I think Mat wants to support moving from an old truck to a new truck, but on a case by case basis. His system isn’t like Some others, where it is self contained and manages the token.

Perhaps his new handheld will eventually manage that, we’ll see.

Hopefully he’ll post and clarify this.

The problem is,you can't prove you removed the tune from your first truck.

You only pay for the licensing on the new truck (no additional hardware costs).
