Today I opened the glove box looking for something in the garage. Yup , that’s what I did with my Tacoma today.

That's some BS. Marriage is great if you are with the right person. I've been married for 24 years. She is perfect for me and tries to keep me straight. I wouldn't have a pot to piss in if it wasn't for her. Plus she likes to do a lot of the same things as me. AND she is a great helper, better than most men.

@EastVanTaco Just suck it up and buy the ring. It doesn't have to be a huge diamond. she will love it b/c it came from you.

It doesn't come out that often. Except for my wife and my daughters. Otherwise, I can be quite an ass.

Nothing wrong with a little chrome. Glad I'm getting rid of that chrome rear bumper though. Fab Four rear bumper due to arrive today!

    :yay:

Bought the Fab Four direct fit bumper from Midwest Aftermarket, same bumper they have on ebay. Dealt direct with them instead of on ebay and saved over $40. $806 out the door including shipping. Best price that I found delivered.

Had mine for about almost 2 years. Still in good shape, the open mechanism still works flawlessly, survives the high powered dryer in the touchless carwashes, and velcro is strong and not worn. Not bad for a less expensive cover.

I know these woes all too well. I found myself in the same situation the other day, was in the bed with a flashlight and allen wrench spurting four letter words as I tried to get it lined up. Looks good mate, and yeah, you'll probably realign 6 more times in the next week. HAHA!

Check out GreenLane Offroad. They only do aluminum. I've seen their products in person and it's nothing but quality.

At that particular placement yes but the idea for the pad itself originally came from another member that deserves all the credit. He used it on the side of the door panel where he rested his knee. I did likewise and put one on the passenger door as well.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
I was just chatting with our AA at work, whose husband is a Toyota tech. She mentioned that "Ten through seventeen Tacomas are getting their frames sprayed." Now, I'm not sure she had the model years right, but I did get a letter from Toyota that talked about frame corrosion and having it inspected and possibly coated. I did talk to the "service agent", or whatever they're called, at the local dealership. She said that, yeah, I need to bring it in, but there's no hurry, I've got like 10 years from the time the notice was issued. I'm not too worried about it, I've gone the Fluid Film route.

Anyone have any more info on this? Is this mostly a PR move due to past Gen2 frame rot problems, or are Gen3 owners really having the same issue?
