My dad who was only 61 and healthly (had an ekg and blood test week before) passed away on an easy hike around here (anchorage, ak) with mom, his brother (who is an er doctor) and nephew on 8/25/10. His 61 b day was 8/24, the day before. He retired a year ago his b day. He wasn't a jerk, he was my moms, bros and my best friend. Our family has been shocked by this (would be easier if I had a jerk dad I think). No family history of any cardiac stuff. So very very sudden. So Please prayers, still dealing with all the financial details, not to mention emotional stuff.
I now have his 08 access cab 4x4 inline 4 which he loved dearly. It is all stock. I am keeping it in the family, lots of memories, he loved that truck. So I will be back on here now and love the this taco forum.
(sold my 09 taco access cab for an outback because of a baby on the way)
    Thank you to all.

Thank you. As I have come to learn, he wanted it all easy for my mom incase something happened. So joint everything. But come to find out it takes hours of phone time and paper work per account to get it all sorted out. A pain in the butt.
This has been amazingly rough on my family. I have heard though that if you know they are going to pass (sick for a few months or something) that you are still never ready for a loved one to go. Still think that has to be easier then this
