Hey guys, I installed these headlights on my 2019 tacoma (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K7YKRL2/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_2?smid=A18NRPEBG32TKA&th=1). The issue I am having is that because they're smoked and black at night my headlights are dark. I am currently running Philips ultimate white light H7s but it is still pretty dark. Any recommendations on super bright H7s?

Get rid of the illegal light housings.

there is nothing that can be done short of drilling a hole to get the proper amount of light.

yeah I know not kewl... would rather see the deer than hit it,

I thought about it but I dont think it is possible with the way the current headlights are set up.

I found a set of smoked housings on CL for cheap. My stock lenses were cracked and hazy and I knew I was gonna replace them, so I bought the smoked ones. I put brighter bulbs in but the light output just isn't enough. They look OK on the truck, but it won't look good if I hit something.

I tried mine on a whim, and thought the light might go through clean smoked lenses better than the f'd clear ones, especially with upgraded bulbs. I was wrong. No big deal.

Could have been worse. A competing vendor had this disclaimer:

HID kit is the only possible solution I can think of. Get 4500-5000K color temps as those put out the most usable light.
