Man, wish they had one for an access cab. Not really looking to pay a bunch for a Prinsu.

I was also thinking that I have a few aluminum 2040 extrusions from an old 3D printer I dont use anymore. From the looks of it all I would have to do is thread the center holes and fit them across. Granted they aren't long enough to make it all the way across, but if they line up I'll put down money for some more. From the looks of it much of the cost of those prinsu is that aluminum. The anodized stuff isnt cheap. But I did like that idea. VERY versatile and much more modifiable than I think the modding market realizes.

Non anodized is pretty reasonably priced for a "work out the kinks" mod. A touch of paint would do the trick.

I present to you, the first steel roof rack on a reg cab! I bought a Hooke Road double cab roof rack, cut it up, drilled some holes, and bolted it together. I drilled 8 holes in my roof, put in some rivet-nuts with sealant on both sides and bolted it down. I love it!

Nice! Did you just chop the excess length off and move the back mounting brackets forward? I think you just solved my access cab dilemma.

Yes! although the Taper in the roof is much different so it took some thinking. Notice the front mounts are on the inside and the rears are on the outside of the rack

Just arrived today! Shipping said it would arrive between October 9 -22nd haha so sweet lil surprise to come home from work to and now know what I’ll be doing this weekend.
Also it looks like they no longer ship the lights separately, everything all came in one box (might be old news but from the early stuff in this thread it looked like they were arriving a week or so) so another bonus.
setting my expectations pretty low for the quality and output of light from those lil guys but I’m thinking I’ll use 2 for ditch lights? anyone have any sample photos of how much light these put out? Narrow beam or wide?

They are spot lights. They’re pretty bright but they will fill with condensation quickly.

Looks like they have another iteration. Wish I would have caught that, but then again I bought on Amazon. The new one looks to have a second bevel on the front wind deflector that makes it follow the curve of the front side rails a bit better, a flange on the front two "prongs" to make them stronger

I should have looked closer at what I was buying, I only looked at the price. It was the same price as their latest iteration... hopefully they sent me the newest version and it was a mistake on the posting. But I won't be too worried as long as the numbers aren't on the side.

For all those who are thinking about buying: the newest version so far will say it is for "05-19 tacoma", the old one is labeled "05-15 tacoma".

I picked mine up on Amazon as well. Shipped super fast and arrived in 3 days even though amazon said it would be about 2-3 weeks to ship. Mine didnt have numbers, all black hardware instead of stainless, as well as the front piece that I believe had the extra bend you mentioned. Ill double check the flange, but I think I remember seeing it on there when I was adding the rubber edge stripping piece for the wind noise

EDIT: but I believe I got the 05-19 listed version becuase it had the sharkfin cutout in the back piece. my 2015 has the bigger xm sharkfin rather than the low profile one
