Ive been there. Did a whole year of counseling after finding some shady shit on her phone. During that year we really worked hard on my flaws, but never on hers - in the end, it did nothing to help the mistrust. (Also, she wound up cheating anyway.)

Once the trust is gone, its gone. Suspicion will just lead to more fighting, which will lead to more suspicion. Which will give her legitimate excuse to go out and blatantly cheat, in a weird, twisted way.

Postpone the wedding, and prepare to start unwinding from the relationship. Alarm bells are sounding in your head, and I applaud you for being in touch enough with your emotions to pay attention to that. As others have said, take some time to work on yourself, but only for the benefit of yourself.


EDIT: Noticed you're in Ft Worth. I wouldn't mind hitting up a brewery if you need someone to hang with.

My heart goes out to you man. I think we've all been through something like this at a point in our lives. The proof is there, she's not going to stop. As hard as it is, you gotta cut ties and go back to CA. She is not going to tell you the truth that she hooked up with a guy at a bar and had a one night stand. She sounds like she's trying to play innocent, then to put that shit on you that you haven't been affectionate? This also means to not let her give you lies to believe in. Don't let her give you false hope and promises. If she truly loves you, you wouldn't be in this situation, you wouldn't have to check her conversations and find out she is hanging out with random people.

 

I only read the first little part, my advice or way I see things. If you don’t have trust in your partner, you will not be happy in your relationship. You will spend way too much energy wondering or thinking about can I trust them.

So, if you can’t trust your partner now, move on.
