Sorry if this is a repeat thread but I was wondering if we could create 3 separate threads... easy, moderate, hard off road trail threads. I am newer to wheeling and I think it's a bit tough to sift through all the info out there and get a good idea of the difficulty of the trails and what to expect. Any thoughts? If this is a silly idea please delete.

I've found Lat 40 maps (for your chosen area) to be decent. I just bought a BLM map too and decided to go explore - discovering what you and your truck can or cannot do. Get out there and explore.

    Good luck.

I moved to CO without knowing anyone here or having any off road experience. The Funtreks books/app and trailsoffroad.com are amazing resources and will help get you going. I've done a few of the moderate rated trails in Funtreks without issue and really like how they break down the sections of trails so you know what you're getting into.

While it’s a good idea, what’s “hard” for you can be “easy” for another.

I did it open/open on 31s with only sliders with lots of scraping and some minor body damage (and crying, unrelated to the trail obv)
