Paid 33k the truck, zero down. 60 month loan at 2%. I opted to just make payments. I pay a little more than the minimum payment, i still owe 21,600. Maybe one of these days ill stop buying mods for it and start putting that money towards the balance.

Zero. I have paid cash for my last 2 vehicles. According to the poll, most 3rd gens you see on the road don't have a payment on them. Not sure I buy that.

I was observing the same. But considering 825k Tacomas have been sold from 1-1-16 to 8-31-19. Doesn’t appear that good....

About $30,000 CAD so around $22,500 US ?? It’s a leftover 18’ DCLB Sport I bought in February. To much in my opinion but I put an extra $200 Mth on the payment, and I could pay it off in case of an emergency.

People who paid cash are more likely to say so. Nobody wants to advertise that they owe $40k+ on a vehicle, even in an anonymous poll.

I'm curious as to who finds these threads and feels like they need to resurrect them after over four months of inactivity. But hell, I'm part of the problem now, so here goes: I owe just under $25k at 2.79%. I'm a little over two years in to a five-year loan and now that I paid off the last of my student loans off (got rid of the last $9k yesterday morning), I plan on making some extra payments and seeing if I can shave a year or so off the loan. I'm hoping this will be the last vehicle I ever finance!
