    He tried to tell me it was a TRD I explained to him why it’s not and that it’s false advertising. My cousin almost bought a 4Runner from them a few years ago. He actually texted me back and said thank you.

    Good on you for that :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

    I'll be curious to see if they adjust their listing and even more curious if they lower the price. I think that would be a win for everybody, including the dealer as they would likely sell it quicker.

    To a potential buyer who doesn't know the Tacoma trim levels, that could be a serious error. Imagine how pissed you'd be if you thought you bought a TRD Offroad, then learned it was an SR after the fact... It was pretty obvious to me what it really was, but someone else might not know the difference.

    Again, good on you for taking the next step and actually calling them up. I probably would not have just because it doesn't necessarily affect me. At the very least, I'm glad my post brought it to someone's attention like you. Hopefully the dealer does right.
